Posting this makes me feel like a prohibition mobster.

Recently, eBay has banned the sale of *any* and *all* tuning software and devices in order to "stop unchecked modification of emissions systems". Even though none of the rudimentary "emissions" systems of the M50 are connected in any way to the DME, thus making it impossible for this chip to defeat and emissions systems in the first place, this didn't stop them from banning the sale of these chips on their platform anyways. Damn I wish I was that dumb lmao. Since I can't sell my used chips there, I'll just throw them up here, I suppose.

Anyways, back when E34s and E36s were plentiful in U pull it yards, I'd yoink every single red label I could possibly find, especially ones with screwy tabs showing evidence that they have a performance chip. 9 times out of 10, they'd have either a BavAuto or Dinan chip in them, and out of those chips, they were almost always "Immediate power, just plug it in and feel the difference!" types that require no extra modifications. I was usually able to sell the more unique ones pretty fast, but these two chips specifically started piling up. This listing is for one (1) chip from my old stockpile of BavAuto chips.

You get the typical gains from an off the shelf chip without the risk of blowing your motor like the old mystery eBay chips. It's something like +10hp, +10 torque, +200rpm rev range and the speed limited is disabled. This and the Dinan branded ones are extremely similar. The good ol' butt dyno confirms that *something* is different, I'm sure a stopwatch would agree with me.

Compatibility Information

I'm pretty sure these only work in 413 red label DME cars, so Vanos M50 E34s and E36s *before* the 1994 model year.
