 Air conditioning is the generational dividing line between the "but muh genuine parts" dudes who spent $30,000 on a 318is "baby M3" copemobile and the TRUE OG CLAPPERS who traded a case of natty light to one dude for a 325e and another case of natty light to another dude for an 885 head and slapped them together with an eBay turbo. If that second one applies to you, delete your HVAC controls, cut down on some weight, and add some color with this HVAC delete kit.

The benefits of a panel delete with none of the drawbacks.

There are kits out there to replace the entire E30 dash panel with a flat piece of sheet metal or plastic. However, this kit allows you to strip your factory panel down to the bare frame and simply fill in the holes. The only permanent modification (possibly) needed is to remove the strip of plastic underneath the factory HVAC switch, however these tend to crack off on their own so it's possible you don't even have to remove it.

The three biggest benefits of choosing this system over others are precision, modularity, and OEM accessory support.

Precision - If you want to add switches or accessories to other panels, you need to drill or dremel a circle or rectangle into the panel. You'll also have to center and space out the holes if you want more than one. The switch versions of this kit take the guesswork and risk out of this; the triple switch kits are spaced evenly and the double switch kits are offset to allow for labeling. However, if you already have your own switches, start button, or any other type of accessory that you want to use with this kit, check out the next section of this description.

Modularity - With the other kits, since it's one solid piece of metal or plastic, you can drill or cut material out all you want, but all changes are permanent. You'll need to order another entire panel to undo any holes and start from scratch. With this system, you can mix and match different dash parts from our catalog or other vendors infinitely. Want to run a head unit, an OBC mounted phone mount, the factory radio fader, factory hazards, factory window breaker switch, and a USB charger for cruises or the commute and switch to a radio delete plate, OBC mounted 52mm gauge pod, voltmeter, and three switch delete blanks for track days? Weird flex, but this kit will let you do that.

OEM accessory support - Since this kit retains the factory dash frame, you can use factory (or factory fitment) switches and accessories without modification. This includes aftermarket USB chargers, voltmeters, or other accessories from us or other vendors.

Customize and filll your holes 🥵

These HVAC kits can be ordered as-is, or you can order them custom printed with the exact size holes you need for switches or buttons for no additional charge. We sell a variety of switches, but this option is great if you have switches already or prefer a switch style we don't carry. When ordering, simply type your specifications into the request box at checkout. Keep in mind that although these parts attach with little to no modification needed as-is, if you order custom holes, you may need to cut or dremel material out of the back of your existing panel to make room for the accessories, especially if you want to mount anything to the climate zone selector delete panel.

Just let us know at checkout if you want any holes; we'll only include additional holes if you ask for them. We can also mix and match colors if requested.
